Business Issue
When the iconic shoe brand wanted to celebrate their 30th birthday with the 'Kick Hi' campaign they asked us to produce a website that would reflect the eclectic history of the brand.
From Robert Daltrey in the 70's, the football casuals in the 80's, with bands such as the Stone Roses, Inspiral Carpets and the Happy Mondays wearing them in the 90's with the Kick Hi boot now being adopted by the R&B scene. The Kickers brand is a true icon.
The client wanted the website to support other activities that were going on around the birthday celebrations and would be used to capture the various events that were happening to celebrate the brand's 30th.
Our Response
It was important to us that the iconic nature of the shoe and those that wore it were represented visually in a way that was inspirational and relevant in on a digital platform.
This website was built utilising Flash technology to create a visual impact and dynamism that reflected the culture and heritage of the brand whilst providing a modern and up to date look and feel.
Business Result
An online presence that reflected the culture and style of the Kickers brand was established.
The website supported other activities associated with the overall marketing campaign.
